Chief Executive Officer of Berekum Chelsea, Mr.Oduro Sarfo believes Ghana's Normalization Committee has no respect for club administrators following the sudden cancellation of the Special Competition.
According to the astute football administrator, the Committee needed to showcase a sign of respect to the clubs since they[Clubs] toiled to form the clubs and pay player salaries. He stated emphatically that, they were not in any position to sabotage the Committee but were just not ready to sign a contract they barely had any idea of what it contains.
"We aren't ready to sabotage the Normalization Committee, however we won't sign anything we don't understand".
"We need to be respected because we have toiled to get to where we are now". The Normalisation Committee doesn't respect we the clubs", he said in an interview with Accra based Asempa FM on the Ultimate Sports show.
The Director added that, football officials that attain a position at the FA and begins to act strangely should not forget they were once a club owner like he is.
"When people start getting positions at the FA they forget they were once like us which is unfortunate".
"The Normalisation Committee doesn't respect us. This communique shows the kind of person we have as Normalisation Committee President". It is the time for the clubs to stand firm and get our football going", Oduro Sarfo urged.
