The Normalization Committee of Ghana Football Association(GFA) has expressed their readiness to meet the chairman of Ghana's second-tier clubs, the Division One League.
The Committee in a letter to the Division One Clubs has sought to meet the Chairman for the discussion of the Special Competition cancellation on Wednesday, 20 February at the FA's secretariat.
The meeting between both parties is to foster understanding in regards to the way forward as far as the competition is concerned despite a release for the cancellation of the competition.
"The GFA/NC writes to acknowledge the receipt of your petition of the cancellation of the Normalization Special Competition". In this regard, the Normalization Committee is inviting the Chief Executive Officer of Division One Clubs for a meeting on Wednesday,20 February 10:00 am at the Ghana Football Association Secretariat".
Meanwhile, the Division One clubs petitioned the Normalization Committee over refund of monies involved in the preparation for the competition and asked an apology letter to be written following the unfortunate decision to cancel the competition.
