Normalization Committee slapped with Petition against extension
Ghana FA Normalization Committee

A Sports agency known as AD Sports International has petitioned Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) over the request of Ghana FA Normalization Committee seeking an extension of their mandate. The comiittee is set to face the wrath should they go ahead for extension of mandate having spent six months already in office without any roadmap for Ghana football.

"Having been a stakeholder in Ghana Football for the past 20 years and still counting, it will be disastrous for Ghana football if FIFA decides to extend the Normalization Committee mandate for even two more hours.I will be left with no option than to proceed to court.

"It is quite shocking how the NC has woefully failed Ghana football and is still being allowed to continue while the core mandate to reform has not been addressed for the past six months.

"Reforming football is not rocket science and Dr.Kofi Amoah and his team don't deserve even to continue their mandate let alone to seek extension. The football league in all divisions in Ghana has been stopped for almost a year and all stakeholders who were crying for FIFA intervention ten months ago are now grinding their teeth in dismay(what a waste of time).

"All stakeholders want competitive league football to resume immediately and not a special competition as proposed by the Normalization committee. Based on the above, I humbly request FIFA to end the NC mandate on the said date to avoid any legal action", the petition from Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AD Sports International to FIFA reads.

The four-member committee is seeking for a five-month extension in office to facilitate their activities of ensuring the game is back to normalcy and also to organise an election for new Ghana F. Executives.
