Normalization Committee Women's Special Competition: Coach Alex Camara set sight on Group A top spot

Head coach of Women's team Ashtown Ladies, coach Alex Camara has disclosed his outfit primary target in the ongoing Normalization committee women's special competition.

Coach Alex Camara outfit recorded a comprehensive result in the first game of the competition which was also their first away clash in an Ashanti Regional derby against Fabulous Ladies where they played out a goalless drawn game.

Ashtown Ladies have won one and drawn two games so far in the competition. Coach Camara has revealed that not only booking a place in the next stage of the competition is their priority rather placing top of Group A before any other club is what they want to achieve.

"I'm very sure and determined that Ashtown Ladies will place top of Group A. We have two home games left on our fixtures". We will make sure we annex all points".

"I doubt any team in Ashanti Region here can win three points from us, am assuring them that all our home matches no point will be given out", he told footballghana.com in an interview.

"Ashtown Ladies will qualify to the quarter finals phase, but my first target is to place top of the Group".

Ashtown Ladies are in Group A of the Normalization Committee special competition with arch rivals Fabulous Ladies, Supreme Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy.

Coach Alex Camara side currently lie top on the Group with five points, behind them is Fabulous Ladies, Kumasi Sports Academy and Supreme Ladies in 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.
