Not Again: Man City's Vincent Kompany Suffers Yet Another Injury Setback & Could Be Out for Weeks

Manchester City centre-back Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of action with yet another injury.

The Belgian, who hasn't enjoyed a long run of games in a long time due to his constant problems with fitness, limped out of City's match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, having just recovered from another injury suffered over the international break.

Pep Guardiola, on Tuesday, revealed that the player could be out for weeks, and will be heading to Spain for treatment.

"He has a problem with his knee," said the Spaniard, speaking ahead of City's Champions League face-off with Borussia Monchengladbach. "He could be out for weeks.

"We have to try to help him week after week to see if he can play more often. Deciding now is not the right thing.

"He is sad but he is in the best hands. He is travelling to a hospital in Spain so he can recover as soon as possible."

Many fans are calling on the 30-year-old to hang up the boots, and given the way things are going, it's probably time to consider it.
