Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko have finally parted ways with goal poacher Frederick Boateng, footballghana.com can confirm.
The most decorated Ghanaian club confirmed, the 25- year old had his contract with the team terminated on mutual grounds.However, report continues that, the Porcupine Warriors have paid Frederick Boateng, the value of his one year pro rata contract alongside a three months salary.
The 25- year old joined the Porcupine Warriors from Inter Allies with a two year contract.He was part of the Kotoko team that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 G8 tournament.
"We announce the mutual termination of our contracts with strikers, Frederick Boateng and Abass Mohammed. We wish them well in their future endeavours", the club tweeted.
