Black Satellites game against Benin in the 2019 Africa Youth Championship qualifier has been rescheduled to August 5 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

According to the coach of the U-20 side, Jimmy Cobblah, an agreement have been reached to fulfill the game in August contrary to the supposed July 13 for the encounter.

Confirming the date of the crunch encounter, coach Cobblah said "It has been officially decided to play the match on August 5 and we are preparing for that".

The Satellites saw their game with Benin halted following government's decision to place an injunction on all football activities after an investigative documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

But after a meeting between club owners and a liaison team which was formed by the government to temporarily take over management of the sport in the country, it was agreed to move the team to camp.

However, Coach Cobblah confirmed his side moved to a residential camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Center at Prampram on Monday, July 9, to commence preparation for the clash.
