Playing for J-League side Kawasaki Frontale since February 2019, 32-year old Brazilian striker Leandro Damião had his deal with the club officially extended until December 2022.
Stepping into the international football limelight about a decade ago, while he was fending for Internacional de Porto Alegre, Damião used to play for a bunch more prominent teams from his home country, namely Santos, Cruzeiro, and Flamengo, as well as for Real Betis Sevilla.
