OFFICIAL: Former Hearts poster boy Torric Jebrin completes move to TP Mazembe

Published on: 25 July 2019

Footballghana.com can report that former Hearts of Oak attacker Torric Jebrin has completed his anticipated move to Congolese giant TP Mazembe ahead of the 2019/2020 season.

The tricky attacker had been linked with a move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the past week after he decided to end his stay with Saudi Arabian club Al-Kawkab FC.

That move only stayed at the speculation stage and could not advance, leaving Torric Jebrin to join the Congolese side. The 28-year old has signed a two year deal with his new side and will stay at the club until 2021.

The left-footed attacker is expected to play a key role for the Black and Whites when the season starts. TP Mazembe will compete in the Congolese League as well as the CAF Champions League and the Ghanaian is set to give them the needed boost to help them make a claim for the enviable trophy.

Since leaving Hearts of Oak in 2011, Torric Jebrin has played for clubs such as Arab Contractors, Ismaily SC, Bucaspor and Trabzonspor. He has now turned attention to Mazembe where he is hoping to enjoy a successful spell.
