Footballghana.com can officially report that Ghanaian International, Muniru Sulley has signed for newly Promoted Russian top-flight club, FC Tambov.

The player parted ways with his Belarusian side FC Dinamo Minsk in the last 24 hours over what is believed to be a failure on the part of the club to continue paying his salary due to some financial constraints.

Having parted ways with the Belarusian side, the Ghanaian midfielder has penned a one-year contract with FC Tambov with an option to extend his stay at the club for another year when the contract expires.

Muniru’s new club, FC Tambov was founded in 2003 and managed to gain a historic promotion to the Russian top-flight after winning the 2018/19 Russian National Football League.

In a bid to strengthen their team, they are bent on signing a couple of players to the side before the start of next season. In line with that, they have signed Sulley to boost their midfield as they look to make a good case for themselves when the season starts.

This will be the player’s 6th European club, having previously played for Romanian sides CFR Cluj and Steaua Bucuresti, Portuguese side Tondela, Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatyaspor, and FC Dinamo Minsk.
