Former Ghana youth defender, Patrick Asmah, has officially made the transfer to Asante Kotoko ahead of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Asmah was a free agent after his contract with Serie A outfit Atalanta came to an end in the summer. The 24-year-old has penned a two-year deal after undergoing his medicals on Thursday.
Asmah signed for Atalanta in 2016 after a string of impressive showings for B.A United and the Ghana U-20 team at the 2015 World Cup hosted in New Zealand.
The defender has enjoyed loan spells at US Avellino, US Salernitana, FK Senica and others.
