Okwahu United ask coach Mohammed Gargo to step aside
STATEMENT FROM OKWAHU UNITED

Head coach of Ghanaian division one side Okwahu United has been asked to step aside from post ahead of the MTN FA Cup tie with Premier League side WAFA.

Coach Gargo was reported to have vacated his post without permission from the president or management of the club leading the management to suspend him until further notice.

Okwahu United who have enjoyed a resurgence this season under the stewardship of new head coach, Mohammed Gargo, are lying fifth in Zone three of the Division One league with five points, behind leaders Great Olympics – and qualifying for the last eight of the MTN FA cup competition for the first time in five years.

The Nkawkaw based side have not had it easy en-route to this stage of the competition either, having played premier league sides (Dreams FC and Hassacas FC) in all of their two previous cup matches this season.
