Ollenu Ashitey agrees personal terms with Kotoko

Accra Hearts of Oak contract rebel Ollenu Ashitey has started advanced negotiations with Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of an impending move to Kumasi.

The skillful winger has refused to renew his expired five-year contract with the Phobians and is currently a free agent.

The player and his handlers are said to have offered his services to cash-spinning Aduana Stars and Bechem United but it appears Kotoko have stolen a march on the two teams.

He has already been shown around Kotoko's training grounds at Adako Jachie adding fuel to rumours surrounding his shock move.

Ashittey is said to be pleased with Kotoko's offer and the deal will be concluded his week after Kotoko receive and file relevant documentation.

He is expected to bring competition among the wingers of Kotoko such as ERic Donkor, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Frank Sarfo Gyamfi.
