Reports of the sacking of the once highly-rated attacker have spread like wildfire with many portals insisting that he is no more with the Dade Boys.

Speaking to Light FM on the matter, Ollenu Ashitey has rubbished the reports. According to him, the club has not communicated anything regarding his release.

He explained, “I am not aware and haven't been communicated regarding my release from Great Olympics but earlier I couldn't even strike a deal with them after an agreement was made that's why I didn't feature for them during their games in the league”.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker has struggled to find his feet since leaving their camp. His stint with Kotoko ended with no impact made and his days with Great Olympics are yet to add anything to his career.
