Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is confident that Great Olympics will survive relegation at the end of the season.

The Accra-based club has struggled to compete this season, especially in the second round of the campaign.

After Week 31, Olympics are 16th in the relegation zone.

Speaking to Original FM in an interview, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu said despite the troubles of the wonder club, he expects the team to survive.

“Let me state this, Olympics will never go to relegation. That will not happen. It’s a wonder club so at times things like this can happen.

“I’m very optimistic that Olympics will survive,” Badu said.

According to the player who played for Olympics at the beginning of the season, he still loves the team regardless of how bad things turned out for him to part ways with the side.

“Although I have some problems and I’m not with them right now. I don’t want my name to be in the history books that I signed for them and the team went on relegation,” Agyemang Badu indicated.
