Attacker Samuel Affum scored both goals all in the first half 11 years ago as they claimed yet another success over fierce rivals Asante Kotoko who finished second that season.
The Accra-based club chalked 52 points to finish the league campaign successfully ahead of Asante Kotoko who amassed 49 points after being held 2-2 on the final day by city rivals King Faisal in Kumasi.
