Operations Director of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy believes that they are still in contention to win the ongoing Ghana Premier league title.

The Porcupine Warriors struggled to find their rhythm from the start of the season but have been able to over it since the appointment of Michael Osei as the interim coach of the after David Duncan was shown the exit door.

The second round of the league have not being smooth for the Kumasi based which has led to the appointment of Malik Jabir as a technical director to assist Michael Osei.

With only four matches to end the season Kotoko are with 41 points lying on the 4th position and will play Berekum Chelsea in the match day 27 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“If we are able to win our next four matches, then we can win the league but for now I am very happy with our performance.” George told Asempa Sports.

“I am not scared of the other clubs because they are also having the same four matches to play and I know everything is possible in football because football is full of uncertainties.

“The other clubs can lose or win and it applies to us as well so we are still in contention to win the title. We are not discourage at all and we will make sure we do everything that is necessary to make sure that we win the four extra matches.” He added.
