The General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti is espected to submit handing over notes to the club on July 2, Footballghana.com can confirm.
Opoku Nti was sacked by the club after management of the club took the decision at the same time that it finally reach an agreement to part was with former coach, David Duncan, who was asked to step aside by the Opoku Nti-led administration following a poor run of form.
However, a source close to the club indicates that the Board will allow the Opoku Nti led management to remain at post till the end of the season.
The Kotoko legend's reign at the club has come under a lot of scrutiny and criticism after Bechem United’s Public Relations Officer, Bismark Danso recently alleged that he made attempts to bribe them to fix their quarter-final MTN FA Cup clash between themselves, claim in which he debunked.
