Barcelona were quick to put last weekend'sEl Clasico disappointment behind them on Saturday, brushing aside La Liga's bottom clubOsasuna in an emphatic3-0 win at theEstadio El Sadar.

It was a cold December morning in Pamplona, with temperatures of four degrees stiflingthe intensity in the opening stages.

When Barcelona finally warmed up, they found themselves in top-form, playing the typically silky football we've come to expect of Barca over the last decade.

But for all of their possession and clear-cut chances, Luis Enrique's side failed to break the deadlock in the first-half, with much of the credit going to Osasuna goalkeeperNauzet Perez who made a string of wonderful saves from Messi, Suarez and co.

Uruguayan striker Luis Suarezcame within inches of breaking the deadlock in the seventh minute, latching onto Lionel Messi's delicate chip only to knock the ball on the wrong side ofPerez's post.

And just five minutes later the former Liverpool manalmost scored again, this time hitting the post after using his strengthto fend off Osasuna'sMiguel Flano inside the box.

Osasuna forwardOriol Riera almost capitalised on Barca's poor finishing on the half-hour mark, sliding just inches away fromMiguel de las Cuevas's drilled cross in-front of an open goal.

The hosts came out like a side possessedin the second-half, with Sergio Leon producing a fabulous piece of skill to bamboozle the Barcelona defence before attempting a 30-yard chip, which beat Barca keeper Ter Stegen only to rebound against the crossbar.

But it was Luis Suarez, who also scored the opener in the 1-1 draw with Real Madrid, that broke the deadlockjust before the hour mark. Messi popped up in space on the edge of the box, slotting it through to Jordi Alba who squared the ball to an opportunistic Suarez, who tapped the ball in to make it 1-0.

Just over 10 minutes later and Luis Enrique's side doubled their lead in a carbon-copy of their first goal. The ball found it's way out to Jordi Alba on the left-wing again, this time the Spaniard squared it to Messi, who looped the ball over a spirited Nauzet Perez in the Osasuna goal to make it 2-0.

The home side, who were deserving of credit for their resilient display, refused to lie down in the final 10 minutes, forcing Barca shot-stopperTer Stegen into two smart saves following Osasuna pressure.

Argentine star Lionel Messi concluded the rout in stoppage-time, keeping his composure to beat five Osasuna defenders and the goalkeeper to give the Catalans a 3-0 victory.
