Astute lawyer, Ntow Fianko has backed Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer to win the impending case against the Ghana Football Association (GFA) at the Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS).

Prior to the 2019 Ghana FA Presidential Elections, the Normalization Committee led by Dr Kofi Amoah disqualified Palmer from contesting.

However, Palmer, who was not satisfied by the committee’s decision went to CAS to seek redress.

It is believed CAS will be coming out with a verdict on the case on Friday, July 17, 2020.

In spite of that, the former Division One League Board Chairman, Lawyer Ntow Fianko says he will be happy if Palmer win the case over the GFA as he strongly believe he was not treated fairly by the NC.

In an interview with Vision 1 FM, he said, “I don’t really know what the verdict will be but if I were to be an angel handling the case I will pray the ruling goes in favour of Palmer because I think he was not treated fairly”

“I will be very happy if he wins the pending case. If he wins, it be a victory of truth and justice. I don’t fear anyone and I know what I am saying” he added.
