Osman Ibrahim re-joins Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko striker Osman Ibrahim has re-joined the club after ending his one-year loan spell with Liberty Professionals ahead of the new season in December.

Ibrahim joined the Porcupine Warriors from Division-One side Asokwa Deportivo in May 2018, under the tutelage of coach Paa Kwesi Fabin. He was one of the six young players signed to augment the squad.

He was used sporadically, hence had to be sent out on loan to gain more playing time and experience following the arrival of former coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor.

The highly-rated forward put up an impressive performance for the Dansoman club in the halted 2018 Ghana Premier League season.

He has since been recalled and resumed training with his teammates at the Adako Jachie on Monday after a disappointing Caf Confederation Cup exit.

"I am very happy to be back," Ibrahim told Kotoko Express App.

"It has been an educative period for me outside this team. I wan to improve and play well to impress the coaches. I want to remain here. I want to progress and positively impact on the team as well".
