Our goal scoring this season is better than last season - Accra Lions coach James Francis

Accra Lions coach James Francis has stated that his team's goal scoring in the ongoing Ghana Premier League is better than last season. 

Accra Lions clash with Tamale City in their match week 20 game played at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

Despite creating several goal scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net.

After the break, the visitors proved to be the stronger side and opened the scoring in the 90th minute mark to make 1-0.

Dominic Amponsah strike in the dyeing embers of the game ensured Accra Lions pick all points at stake over the relegation threatened Tamale City.

"They should be where they are in terms of how they play football. They are a good footballing side goalscoring is a massive thing we found it difficult last year in our first year. They picked it up this year," James Francis said after the game.

Accra Lions is second on the Ghana Premier League table with 34 points.
