Oxlade-Chamberlain ready to snub Liverpool and sign new Arsenal contract

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to extend his stay at Arsenal by signing a new deal, according to reports from The Mirror.

The long term future of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Arsenal had been cast into major doubt as the attacker entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium recently, with speculation that Liverpool were looking to swoop in for the 23-year-old this summer.

Much to the relief of the Arsenal faithful though, revelations can be made that Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently ready to commit himself to a new deal in north London.

The England international is now expected to pocket over £100,000-a-week by extending his stay with the Gunners.
