Owner and bankroller for Tema Youth Football Club (FC), Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has emphasized that football in the country will not be the same when it returns after the Coronavirus (Covid-19) break.

The 2019/2020 Ghanaian football season has been on hold since March as a precautionary measure against the spread of the deadly Covid-19 disease.

Before the Ghana Premier League and the other leagues were halted, things were going fine with the leaders of the football association earning applause for the direction it was headed with the game.

After two months of no football action, Wilfred Osei Palmer says it will be difficult to get back to where the season left off when it resumes.

“When you take a closer took at our situation, it will be difficult for our football to get back to where we left off.

“For instance, take someone who was attending matches in the local league and he wants to go and see Hearts vs Kotoko in Accra. His family members will not encourage him to go", the football administrator said during an interaction on Happy FM.
