Palmer reveals plans to invest $90 million into Ghana football when elected GFA president

Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential hopeful, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer has disclosed his intention to gather funds from different sources to the tune of $90 million to promote the football in the country.

The owner of Tema Youth Football Club is one of seven persons who have filed nominations to contest the upcoming presidential elections of the football community.

After facing the vetting committee set up by the Normalization Committee last weekend, Osei Kwaku Palmer has today launched his manifesto to outline his plans for the new FA.

At the launch of the manifesto at the Alisa Hotel in Accra earlier today, Palmers has shared that it is his plan to amass a total of $90 million over a 4-year cycle to be invested into the sports to ensure its growth in the shortest possible time.

Information gathered by footballghana.com indicates that the football administrator plans to raise the gargantuan amount by securing $4 million from TV Broadcasting rights, $9 Million from Marketing rights, $30 million from international competitions prize money, $2 million from Merchandizing of the GFA product, and some others.

Meanwhile, Osei Kwaku Palmer is facing competition from George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Lawyer Amanda Clinton, and Lawyer George Ankomah Mensah ahead of the presidential elections.
