Ghanaian international Thomas Teye Partey has revealed that he takes pride from being linked with a move from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid to other European heavyweights.

The Black Stars budding midfielder has been an important asset for the Spanish La Liga side in recent years and continues to put in fantastic displays that prove he is one of the best players in his position in the whole world.

Partey continues to be linked with transfers to European giants such as English Premier League clubs Arsenal, and Manchester United, as well as French Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.

In an interview with mundodeportivo, Thomas Partey has revealed that being linked with moves to such teams gives his pride and the sense of knowing that he is doing something good.

“It is a pride to receive the attention of other teams because that means that you are doing things well and invites you to want to do them even better. Sometimes it is not a decision of the player, but of the club. If Atlético wants to follow me when they don't want me, we'll see what I do", he said.

Despite all the interests, Thomas Partey insists he is committed to the course at Atletico Madrid while citing that they have been faithful in shaping his career.

“ It's the team that has always given me everything, it's my home, where I always want to be because it's a team that has been faithful to me. He has given me everything since I arrived. It's like my family", adds the Ghanaian.
