Ghanaian international Thomas Partey has stressed that his Atletico Madrid team needs to continue working hard to get back to winning ways in subsequent matches after suffering defeat against Eibar over the weekend.
The Rojiblancos lost 2-0 to Eibar on Sunday when they visited the side on Match Week 20 of the 2019/2020 Spanish La Liga season.
In a post-match interview, Thomas Partey noted that Atletico Madrid has to continue working to improve as a team.
“We tried everything we could. We have to try to continue and individually continue working, the Black Stars midfielder indicated.
He continued, “We have to improve for the team. We know how to work for the team and not play individually. We have to be a pineapple for everything and get this forward. ”
Up next for the Spanish side, they will go up against Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey and will be hoping for a win.
