Following his reappointment as head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, 48, returns to the helm after stepping down post the disappointing performance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, taking over from Chris Hughton.

Addae-Mensah, a member of the Black Stars search committee, believes Addo's passion and commitment to Ghana will propel him to triumph given the necessary backing.

"Once we give him [Otto Addo] time, support, and resources, he will deliver," Addae-Mensah stated in an interview with LUV FM. "I think he has the passion and desire to do something for Ghana."

Otto Addo's 34-month contract sees him supported by Moroccan-German coach Joseph Laumann, assistant coach John Paintsil, and goalkeeper trainer Fatawu Dauda.

In upcoming international friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda slated for later this month in Morocco, Addo aims to secure victories for the Black Stars.
