Past Kotoko chairmen to meet on Wednesday to decide on assistance package for accident victims

Past chairmen of Kumasi Asante Kotoko will meet in Kumasi on Wednesday to discuss a possible assistance package for the team following their bus accident which claimed one life.

Some of the old top executives have already visited the team after the incident which happened last Wednesday when they were travelling from Accra to Kumasi after their Ghana Premier league match day 22 game with Inter Allies.

A press statement copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and signed by Mr. Paul Adu-Gyamfi, past chairman, convener of the meeting said the venue will be at the National Kotoko Secretariat at Odeneho- Kwadaso in Kumasi.

The accident occurred when the team were on their way back to Kumasi in a team bus after a Premier League match with Inter Allies in Accra.

It claimed the lives of two persons including Mr Thomas Ofosu Berchie, Equipment officer of the Football Club.
