Ghanaian international Patrick Twumasi is reportedly set to join Turkish club Gazişehir Gaziantep in the ongoing transfer window following advanced negotiations between the relevant parties.

The young striker has become surplus to requirement at Deportivo Alaves after joining them from Astana a year ago.

With Alaves new head coach Asier Geratino having indicated that the player will not play as many minutes as he would want, he is set to move to a different club to ensure he gets to enjoy first-team football on a weekly basis.

Footballghana.com understands that Gaziantep is very interested in the services of the out of favour forward and are keen on completing his transfer before the transfer window shuts.

If they manage to wrap up his signing, Patrick Twumasi will be the third Ghanaian that Gazişehir Gaziantep has signed in the summer transfer window following the arrivals of Abdul Aziz Tetteh and Yusif Rahman Chibsah.

In the 2018/20219 season, the former Astana forward only made 14 appearances for Alaves.
