Albert Commey, the CEO of Techiman Eleven Wonders believes the football is important in this country and has branded those who oppose the stimulus package asked from government as witches and wizards.

The Ghana Premier League has been suspended since March and the Ghana Football Association announced that they will decide on the future of the league by June 30.

During the suspension, GFA president Kurt Okraku revealed that the body has asked for a stimulus package from government to help football resume its activities and reduce the financial burden on clubs. Albert Commey is in support of the initiative.

"I watched television on Saturday and I watched everything going on,  they just did not observe any of the COVID-19 protocols."

"We are not playing football and our Cost is also increasing which are are not getting any income in these times," Albert Commey told Happy Fm.

"Some people say Government should still not give us any amount of the stimulus I call those people witches and wizards. Football helps a lot in this country."
