Pep Guardiola Rules Out Manchester City Return for Joe Hart

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has ruled out a return of out of favour goalkeeper Joe Hart to the Etihad, claiming he is happy with the current batch of keepers present at the club. The Spaniard was not impressed by Hart, who was banished from the first team and later joined Serie A side Torino on loan for the rest of the season.

The 29-year-old has been in good form at Italy, keeping five clean sheets for his new side this season. His performances in goal have reportedly alerted a number of sides in the Premier League who have expressed an interest in signing him in the summer.


Guardiola who took over the managerial reigns at City this season, though is happy with goalkeepers at the club, which has put Hart's future with the Citizens in doubt.

"I'm so happy with Willy [Caballero] and Claudio [Bravo].I will decide about that at the end of the season.I trust a lot in both and we'll decide -- not just the goalkeepers, the midfielders, wingers, strikers, full-backs -- we are going to decide at the end of the season", Guardiola said at the pre-match press conference.


The Citizens will next be seen in action when they hostHuddersfield Town in the second leg of the fifth round of the FA Cup on Monday, the 1st of March.
