Pepe rejects Real Madrid contract offer: Has €45M Pellegrini deal on table

Pepe has rejected an offer from Real Madrid to remain next season.

Off contract in June, El Confidencial says Real management wanted Pepe to stay another 12 months to help bed down the likes of Diego Llorente and Jesus Vallejo next term.

However, Pepe is ready to leave and while it's suggested he wants to remain in Europe for next year's World Cup, it's claimed a move to China is now more likely.

Manuel Pellegrini's Hebei Fortune China is in contact with Pepe about a big money move to the Far East this summer.

Hebei Fortune have put on the table an offer of €45 million over three years for Pepe to leave Europe next month.
