But whilst each fan will show their love foreither franchise by buying the video game, Atalanta's captain, Papu Gomez, has taken the whole commitment thing to another level after he took to the field for his side's match against AC Milan wearing an armband, specially designed as a tribute to PES.

The armband makes a clear reference to the very first ever Pro Evo video game to by displaying the Master League XI from that edition.

Gomez has always made it publicly clear that he is a big supporter of the PES franchise and whatcynicsmight suggest is nothing more than a publicitystunt, is simply the forward showcasing the fact he's anavid fan who wanted to display his love for the game.

Without wishing to rain on Gomez's parade, it seems bizarre that the home nations have all receivedfines for displaying poppies on armbands and yet FIFA have so far ignored the armband worn by the Atalanta skipper.

But then again, this is FIFA and it would probably be best to stay clear from that whole debate which means we should all simply sit back and marvel at Gomez's display of dedication.
