PHOTOS: Black Stars hold first training session in Charlotte ahead of Mexico game

The Ghana senior national team, the Black Stars have commenced preparations for the game against Mexico and USA in the October international break.

The national team led by head coach Chris Hughton held a first training session on Tuesday evening at the Charlotte FC training facility.

During the first training session, 19 out of the 23 invited Black Stars players were present to take part in the session.

In the latest development, the Ghana FA has announced that Tariq Lamptey, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, and Osman Bukari won't be available for the upcoming friendlies against Mexico and the USA due to injuries.

Meanwhile, Kingsley Schindler, Jerome Opoku, and Stephan Ambrosius have been selected as replacements.

The game between Ghana and Mexico is scheduled to be played on Saturday, October 14.

The game will kick off at 4:30 p.m. at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

Three days later, Ghana will face off with the USA in the second friendly match of the October international break.
