Times are a' changin at Atletico Madrid.

The capital club went full rebrand today releasing not only the designs for their updated badge, but alsogiving their new stadium (set for completion next year) a shiny new name to go with it.

According to Atleti's English Twitter account, the new badge represents an evolution not a revolution, and will be displayed on the team's shirts from next season.

The latest version of the designfeatures just a few subtle tweaks, giving more prominence tothe tree and bear - presumably to represent something to do with climbing the tree of success...

Apparently midfielder Gabi is a fan, anyway.

In a busy day for the club's marketeers, Atleti also announced the official name for their imminent new home.

So, apparently the La Liga giants have followed the examples set by the Emirates, Etihad and ummm Dick's Sporting Goods Park and have chosen to cash in on a corporate sponsor.

Chinese corporationWanda was widely expected to feature in the new title, and already holds a 20% share of the club's capital.

Fortunately the designsfor the new 67,000 seaterground, which will host its first fixtures in Augustnext year, look better than the name:
