The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has congratulated the Black Princesses for conquering the WAFU Zone B.

The Ghana U20 Girls national team on Saturday, June 3, defeated Nigeria in the finals of the WAFU Zone B U20 Girls Cup of Nations tournament.

After the win, the Black Princesses were crowned champions of the tournament, making Ghana the first country to win the tournament.

Subsequently, on Sunday, Ghana FA boss Kurt Okraku dined with the Black Princesses players, the technical team, and the management team.

He was full of praise and applauded the team for fighting to bring glory to the motherland.

''Football is all about team work and your head coach and his assistants showcased that throughout the tournament. They have worked with unity and we are grateful and thankful to them.

''You have made all Ghanaians both home and abroad happy throughout the tournament. Winning this trophy was possible because you all came together to work and achieve this success,” Kurt Okraku said.
