Ghana goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott has finally reported to the camp of the Black Stars in Doha, Qatar.

The Swindon Town shot-stopper is one of 28 players named by Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac in his final squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

In the last two weeks where the Black Stars have been pitching camp in Doha, Joseph Wollacott and some Black Stars players based in England have been absent.

This is because of the extension of the arrival date for players in Europe by FIFA to ensure they help their clubs in games played during the busy yuletide period.

With the period over, Joseph Wollacott has now joined his Black Stars teammates in camp where they are preparing for the upcoming AFCON tournament set to be staged in Cameroon.

The goalkeeper is likely to be given minutes on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, when Ghana takes on Algeria in a friendly encounter.
