PHOTOS: Joseph Attamah-Lawerh all smiles after joining Rizespor on loan

Ghanaian international, Joseph Attamah Larweh could not hide his excitement after completing his loan move from İstanbul Başakşehir to Çaykur Rizespor ahead of the start of the Turkish Super League.

The Black Stars defender reached an agreement to play for the club on a season-long loan in the upcoming season after putting pen to paper earlier today.

The center back has been signed to help Rizespor challenge the big boys in the league as they bid to maintain their Super Lig status at the end of the season.

“Çaykur Rizespor transferred Joseph Attamah from İstanbul Başakşehir FK for rent”.

“We wish success to Joseph Attamah who has played in 79 official matches in Başakşehir for the last 3 seasons and lastly 59 minutes in the UEFA Champions League match against Olympiacos on August 13”, a statement by Rizespor indicated.

The 25-year old joins the club after representing his national team at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament despite not enjoying any minutes. He impressed in the 11 games he played for Başakşehir last season and is expected to provide stability at the back for Rizespor.
