The two clubs from the Great Accra Region locked horns at the Accra Sports Stadium as part of activities lined up to spice the 2019 Homowo festival celebration.
The game ended 1-1 at the end of regulation time with the Phobians scoring through academy graduate Michelle Sarpong. Shortly after, Iddrisu Sarlar found the back of the net to restore parity for Olympics.
They later had to resort to the lottery of the penalty shootout to decide who wins the cup. Hearts goalkeeper Richard Ayi ended up being the hero as the Rainbow lads beat the ‘Dade Boys’ 3-1 at the end of the shootout to make them worthy winners of the 2019 Homowo Cup.
