Ghana Premier League outfit, King Faisal Football Club has stepped up pre-season training as preparations for the next football season continues.
The Kumasi-based club displayed poor form during the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season as they struggled to pick up a win.
After going 14 matches without a win, King Faisal finished bottom at the time the campaign was suspended and subsequently canceled by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Keen on rewriting the narrative in the 2020/2021 football season, the club has this weekend intensified their pre-season training at the Paa Joe Park.
Head coach Slaviša Božičić and his technical team members have been taking the players through the paces with various drills to build on fitness, sharpness, defending, and finishing of the attackers.
This weekend, the team will play 2 friendly matches as part of the pre-season training.
