Pictures: Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC present trophy to Speaker of Parliament

Medeama Sporting Club has presented the Ghana Premier League title to Honorable Speaker of Parliament, Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin.

The presentation of the league trophy was done on Wednesday, June 21, by officials of the club in the company of the technical team and the playing body.

The team stormed the office premises of the Speaker of Parliament with all smiles after conquering the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League with 60 points after 34 games.

A win against Tamale City on the final weekend of the league saw the Mauve and Yellow outfit being crown Ghana Premier League Champions at Akoon Park on Sunday, June 11.

The historic league triumph has been celebrated by the people of Tarkwa. It has given massive excitement to the Speaker of Parliament and the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa.

Next season, Medeama SC will be participating in the CAF Champions League as Ghana’s sole representative.

The team will also hope to mount a strong defense for the Ghana Premier League title.
