The Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will sit on the case between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and former head coach Kjetil Zachariassen next month.

The Norwegian tactician and his council, Lawyer Prosper Ntow have accused the Porcupine Warriors of unfair dismissal.

The gaffer was with the Kumasi-based side last year and was tasked to guide the team to the group phase of the CAF Champions League. After failing to achieve that target, the coach subsequently failed to lead the Reds to the knockout stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.

He was subsequently showed the exit door under bizarre circumstance on the back of anger exhibited by supporters of Kotoko who threatened that they will not guarantee the safety of Zachariassen if he touched down in Ghana.

In an interview with Fox FM today, Council for Kjetil Zachariassen, Lawyer Prosper Ntow has confirmed that he met with representatives of Kotoko at the Player Status Committee today.

He shared, “Today we went to the Player Status Committee and the case (Zachariassen vs Asante Kotoko SC over alleged unfair dismissal) has been adjourned to 13th February 2020 when there will be a full hearing.

“The Player Status officials were present but Kotoko officials asked for time to file for some processes, so the Committee gave them that chance to file for their processes.

“I went along with Charles Kouadio, agent of Zachariassen and Kotoko were represented by Nana Kwame Dankwah and two lawyers”, he concluded.
