Former Ghana international, Mohammed Ahmed Polo has cautioned the Ghana Football Association to put their house in order before considering a move for Kwesi Appiah.
Kwesi Appiah who now coaches Sudanese outfit Al Khartoum has been mooted as the right man to replace the current Black Stars trainer, Avram Grant after the team's failure to beat the Cranes of Uganda in the first game of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier at the Tamale sports stadium, coupled with team's inability to beat Russia and South Africa in their recent friendly games.
And as pressure mounts on the Israeli coach, Mohammed Polo believes even though he supports the strong calls to bring Kwesi Appiah back into the helm of affairs as the man to lead the Black Stars to its former glory day, the Ghana Football Association must try to put things in place before reflecting of such move.
"I believe it's too early for such calls because there are so many things in-front of us which we've not attained yet. And we need to make sure that we've put the necessary structures in place," the former Hearts of Oak maestro asserted on Happy FM.
"We should solve the problems that has engulfed the association before we can think of bringing him in and it's not a bad suggestion though because he's been there before and did a good job. It's an idea and if they can take it, fine because i see him as an experienced trainer who has been to the World Cup before."
"And i don't there's anything bad about that idea, but the most important thing is that we should clean the house for him to have a peaceful tenure."
