Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah is reportedly planning to sign a pre-contract with a foreign team at the start of 2022, as the Englishman prepares to finalise a move away from North London.

The 22-year-old striker was heavily linked with a move during the summer transfer window, however, the deadline passed with the forward still at the Emirates Stadium.

Nketiah’s deal in the capital is set to expire next June, and according to The Sun, the attacker is unlikely to sign a new contract with Mikel Arteta’s side.

The report suggests that the North London giants, are now facing a massive loss on the Englishman, who will look to sign a pre-contract with another foreign team when the transfer window will be re-opened in January, and a number of Bundesliga teams are believed to be interested.

Nketiah, who was rumoured with Crystal Palace late in the transfer window, was believed to have been valued by the Gunners at £20m earlier this summer before their asking price dropped to £12m.
