According to a new report by Chris Waugh of The Athletic, Newcastle's skipper Steve Bruce has set his eyes on 3 Manchester United players to reinvigorate the Magpies ahead of the 2021-2022 campaign.
Defensive problems were evident in the team last year, so Bruce is now hoping to take advantage of his United connection to try to bring in either Alex Tuanzebe, Phil Jones or Brandon Williams. The three young prospects are eager for playing time to continue their development, and Newcastle could offer them that opportunity in a highly competitive environment. Manchester United seem willing to loan out both Tuanzebe and Williams, so a switch to Newcastle is very possible, while they might be wanting a permanent deal for Jones, who dealt with injury problems all last year and doesn't look like he will be in manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans for next season.
