The Merseyside giant are considering a summer swoop for Nice striker Amine Gouiri at the request of the German coach. U21 France international is a product of the Lyon youth academy and went on to play 15 games for the club‘s first team without scoring a goal.

Amine made the switch to Nice in the summer of 2020 and has since grown into a talented youngster in Ligue 1, having managed a more than handy tally of 20 goals and nine assists in 45 matches so far. Gouiri has started the new campaign with a bang, having scored four goals in four matches already while also registering an assist.

The French striker’s look to have put him on the radars of one of the biggest teams in the world in the form of the Reds. Liverpool have a well-established attacking trio of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah, with Diogo Jota and Divock Origi providing cover.
