Pressure mounts on Ghana FA as CAS is set to rule on Palmer's case on Friday

The nation’s football governing body is under intense pressure as the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) is set to decide on the future of Kurt Okraku's administration on Friday.

Prior to the 2019 Ghana Football Association Presidential elections, the bankroller of Division One side Tema Youth, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer was shockingly disqualified by the Dr. Kofi Amoah’s led Normalization Committee claiming he doesn’t have integrity.

In spite of that, the beleaguered football administrator dragged the normalization committee to the global tribunal over his unfair and biased disqualification from the GFA presidential race back in October 2019.

CAS will announce its verdict on Friday, July 17 after a marathon 10-month legal battle between Palmer and the Ghana FA.

The leadership of the Ghana is believed to have come under intense pressure as a chunk of the Ghanaian populace trusts Palmer was not fairly treated.

Astute lawyer, Ntow Fianko and others recently backed Palmer to win the case and slammed Dr. Kofi Amoah’s led administration who played hide and seek ahead of the elections.

The decision of CAS will go a long way to determine the future of current FA boss Kurt Okraku as it threatens his reign.
