Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has apologized to the playing body ahead of their this weekend clash against FC Samartex.

This emerged after an emergency meeting held at Manhyia on Thursday afternoon.

The meeting was called by the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II due to the poor performance of the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko has recorded just a win in the last seven in the second half of the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

Following the meeting, Prosper Narteh Ogum apologized to the playing body and called on them to unite as they hope to finish in a respectable position.

He also called on stakeholders to come together to held revive the club.

Having missed two training sessions due to the agitations of the fans, Prosper Narteh Ogum led the team to train ahead of their game against the Premier League leaders at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday with kick-off scheduled at 15:00GMT.
