Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed is back in training at new club Anzhi Makhachkala a month ahead of schedule after recovering from a cruciate ligament rupture.

The 24-year-old joined Anzhi on a free transfer from Kuban Krasnodar despite being injured at that time.

However, it appears he is ready to make his return to action on Sunday after joining his teammates for training on Saturday.

His compatriot and Anzhi teammate Jonathan Mensah too to instagram to share the good news about Rabiu Mohammed's impending return to action.

He posted: "Last training before tomorrow's game and happy to have my brother @rabiu_momo_5 back at training with the team #GodIsGreat #Jomens #Momo #Anji."
